Simple Spicy Chicken Tenders

This super Simple Spicy Chicken Tender recipe is a delicious, easy, low-carb, and low-fat alternative to fried crispy tenders. Chicken tender strips marinated in a mix of hot sauce, soy sauce, fresh chopped garlic, rosemary, and cajun spices make this low-calorie meal an easy staple in your weekly rotation.

Serve with Jalapeno Chipotle Ranch Dressing as a game-day snack, make it a salad with our Homemade Dijon Italian Salad Dressing, or use leftovers as a tostada topping…so many options!

SPICY CHICKEN TENDER INGREDIENTS

  • fresh Chicken Tenders
  • favorite Hot Sauce (Frank’s Hot Sauce)
  • Lite Soy Sauce (or regular)
  • chopped Garlic
  • Rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • favorite Cajun Spice (Slap Your Mama)

HOW TO MAKE SPICY CHICKEN STRIPS

  • STEP ONE – Combine the suggested amounts of Hot Sauce and Soy Sauce in a measure cup.
  • STEP TWO – Finely chop 3 or 4 (more or less to taste), add to sauce mixture.
  • STEP THREE – Add Cajun Seasoning (more or less to taste) to sauce mix and stir.
  • STEP FOUR – Place Chicken Tenders in 1 gal ZipLock Bag and pour mixture over tenders.
  • STEP FIVE – Add Rosemary Springs or 1 tbls of dried Rosemary to bag. Seal, shake, knead bag and refridgerate for at least 4 hours.
  • STEP SIX – Prepare grill. Grill until tender and done. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. ENJOY!!

QUICK TIP ….

  • Make ahead and let marinade overnight for maximum flavor.
  • When ready to grill or bake in the oven…let chicken set out on the counter for about 30 minutes.
  • If baking in the oven… preheat 350o, place on a foil lined cookie sheet, spray with oil, and cook for 20 mins. Turn strips over half way through cooking time.
  • All chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 1650 .
  • Serve with your favorite sauce.
