Ingredients for Healthy Turkey Tacos 

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350F.
  2. Cook the Ground Turkey Taco Meat Filling:
    In a large non-stick skillet, heat 1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey meatchopped onion and minced garlic. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, break the turkey meat up as it cooks. Cook until ground turkey is no longer pink.
  3. Mix in the chili powdercuminoregano, and salt. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes, allowing the spices to bloom and blend. 
  4. Pour 1 cup of your favorite salsa over the turkey mixture. Stir well until combined thoroughly. Reduce heat to simmer and cover for 10 minutes. Turn heat off and let the meat rest for about 5 mins.

  1. Bake low carb tortillas
  2. Spray metal taco stands with spray oil. Line each valley with flour tortilla then spray formed flour tortillas inside. Place each taco stand on a cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 10 mins or until tortilla edges are beginning to tan. Remove from oven.
  3. Assemble the Tacos:
  4. Spoon about 2–3 tablespoons of turkey filling into each tortilla with 1-2 tbsp of grated cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  6. Fill with your favorite toppings! Enjoy!
